Cheetah released by Kuno National Park into forest strays into Madhya Pradesh residential area

One of the two cheetahs released in the open forest of Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park walked out of the forest and reached a residential area in Sheopur. Authorities are yet to confirm which one of the two cheetahs it is- Agni or Yavu. The cheetah spotted near an urban area was captured on camera by a passersby on his mobile phone. 

On Sunday morning, some passersby passing through the road between Dhengda village and Polytechnic College adjacent to Sheopur city made a video of the cheetah. The cheetah is seen crossing the dirt road near the crusher.

The Kuno National Park teams are constantly monitoring the movement of the cheetahs, officials said. Both the cheetahs released from Kuno Park into the open forest are healthy.
